As they progress through each level, they must collect coins and studs to purchase upgrades for their characters and unlock new abilities. Players can also unlock new characters by completing specific tasks or finding hidden items throughout the game. The game features a variety of characters from the films, including Captain Barbossa, Davy Jones and Hector Barbossa. Along the way, they will battle enemies, solve puzzles and explore exotic locations in an effort to save the Caribbean from certain doom. Players will experience all four films, from The Curse of the Black Pearl to On Stranger Tides, as they play as Jack Sparrow, Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann.
